Canon Name:
Jamison Brett Kingsley, goes by Dodger.
Canon: Original

Age/Sex/Gender: 25/Male/Male
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 248lbs
Species/Supernatural Qualities: Human/Mutant
Among the mutants in his universe, he is particularly powerful and dangerous; he can teleport distances of around 10 feet at a time (which can be stacked as long as he has energy and space to land), shoot fireballs from his hands, light parts of his body on fire, control his body temperature and turn invisible at will. Teleporting makes a noise (like a loud pop) and his fire cannot be turned invisible, so he's detectable when trying to use his powers while invisible. He is also supernaturally strong, able to lift a car with minimal effort and throw it several feet away.

Dodger also has a universe-specific illness that essentially makes him very aware of alternate universes - he occasionally has episodes where he might remember something from an alternate timeline/reality version of himself (which may include CR from other games), and will generally get a nosebleed while his brain sorts itself out. If something severe were to happen, such as physically touching a version of himself from another reality, he would have a reaction very similar to the Spiderverse glitches, and could potentially be killed by the pressure. He takes special medication to handle it, although he can function well enough without it.

Occupation/s: Information broker and hired gun.
Default Inventory:
- One set of clothing (white shirt, black hoodie, army-green jacket, tactical cargo jeans, black socks, hi-top sneakers).
- Gauze wraps that are constantly maintained and replaced, hiding the lower half of his forearms.
- One necklace with a silver sun charm. The charm is around an inch in diameter. It's worn under his clothes but he never takes it off.
- One chain wallet, one modern-looking Android phone, and one bottle of glowing, blue pills usually in his pockets.
- One small cardboard box containing several keepsakes from his childhood.
- A pair of heavily modified UZIs with gold detailing, and a single clip of ammo for each of them.
- One vintage butterfly knife.

Golden Peacock Inventory:
- A steady supply of glowing, blue pills - he normally has one bottle in his pockets somewhere.
- Gauze wraps that are constantly maintained and replaced, hiding the lower half of his forearms (he's stealing these from the medical wing.)
- Clothing as close as he could find to his canon fashion (t-shirts, jeans, hooded jackets, hi-top sneakers)
- An acoustic guitar (stolen from the September 2025 TDM's camping setup.)
- One necklace with a silver sun charm (purchased with AC rewards in October 2025.)
- One bastard sword with a simple design (purchased during the November 2025 TDM and reforged by Henry.)
- Four pet yellow slimes (captured during the November 2025 TDM, will die out around March 2026.)

Senses Information:
- Sight: Dodger stands at about 5'11" (180cm), and weighs a little under 250lbs. While a bit pudgy around the gut, he has an imposing figure and rather strongly defined musculature. The most notable thing about him is his scarring; he has three jagged scars across the left side of his face, cutting through his eyebrow, nose, lip and jaw. They are deep and permanent, and seem to have been caused by something with an irregular shape. His beard is trimmed short rather than shaved, partly to aid his rough exterior and partly because he's not super big on sharp things near his face. Dodger has chestnut brown hair, dark enough to contrast again his sickly pale skin, and green eyes that are more yellow than blue. More observant characters may notice that his right eye is somewhat cloudy, and he tends to move so that his left eye has a better view of things. His skin is aged beyond where it should be for a 25 year old, from a mixture of drug use and trauma, and there are always dark circles under his eyes. He looks like he definitely does not get enough sunlight.

Dodger also has several tattoos across his body. On the backs of his hands he has eyes that seem to be some sort of religious symbol. His knuckles read "LIVE" (right) and "DIE?" (left), and his left thumb has a stylized Delta symbol - it looks like a triangle with a notch taken out of it. Around the middle of his left forearm, he has a curling serpent. His right forearm is completely taken up by tentacles that start from his wrist and curl up to his elbow. On the right side of his neck is a nautical star, above his shoulder-blades is a triangle made of flowers, and over his heart is a Star of Baphomet. Below that is the text "we are but fire and wind" in cursive Latin. On the right side of his chest is a tattoo in Chinese that reads "dog breath". He also has a tramp stamp, in the form of a pawprint right on his lower back.
(In Golden Peacock, the tattoo above his shoulder-blades has been replaced with a red heart made of flowers, which seems to darken much faster than most. He also has a red mark in the shape of a tiger lily on the right side of his chest, from Esikko's magic.)

His skin is littered with miscellaneous scarring, particularly on his back, neck and inner wrists, and he notably has what looks like a single gun-shot wound above his left hip that has left an ugly scar. The scars from his wrists are clearly from self-harm, although they don't seem deep enough to end his life - usually, they are covered by gauze wraps even if he is otherwise unclothed.
(In Golden Peacock, Dodger has a fresher scar running across his middle and ring fingers on his right hand, from Toma biting him.)

Dodger's scars and tattoos may shift around when he shifts between realities (although it's rare), but the three scars on his face seem to be a universal constant.

- Smell: Typically, he smells like cigarette smoke and sweat. His breath generally is some mix of cinnamon whiskey, cigarettes and gasoline. He tends to wash himself daily and preen regularly (with some margin of error for black-outs and lazy depressed days) so most mornings he smells of sandalwood and cinnamon, but the gasoline smell seems to linger no matter how clean he is. Usually, he smells dramatically worse at night, more alcoholic and with a heavier scent of sweat.

- Hearing: Dodger's voice is pretty much your average scruffy ruffian, though when put next to older and more experienced men it tends to betray his age. He has a sort of ambiguous American accent, with strong influences from New England but no particular quirks that betray one state over another. His voiceclaim is Troy Baker.

While Dodger tends to move pretty quietly on his feet, his teleportation emits a loud POP noise, which tends to give away his presence. The sound does not repeat at his destination, though.

- Touch: Dodger's skin is notably rough, particularly on his palms. He has guitar callouses, and small, old scars below his pinkies on each hand. Most of his body, particularly his back and neck, feel as if they've been scarred and healed over multiple times. Due to his power-set, Dodger's skin runs hot and tends to feel feverish as a baseline, though it can heat up enough to burn anyone who touches him. He also doesn't use conditioner enough, so his hair is pretty rough.

- Taste: Bad. Very bad. He tastes like sweat and gasoline. Don't lick him, that's nasty. Wash your hands.

Other Notes: Those with any ability to sense moral alignment will sense that he is an intensely evil person, although there is a small amount of light in him. (In D&D terms, he falls somewhere in the middle of Chaotic Evil.)

Platonic Physical Contact: He's not amazingly comfortable with it, but he'll take it. The more he gets to know someone, the more likely he is to put up with it, but he is likely to react poorly to strangers touching him.

Romantic/Sexual Physical Contact: He is all about that. In fact, he has a habit of getting forceful about both if he's in the mood and having trouble getting it. Although affectionate contact doesn't come to him as easily as sexual contact, it's possible if someone else starts it. The more he gets to know someone, the more likely he is to allow affection, and the more likely he is to take their boundaries into account.

Violent Physical Contact: Ill-advised, as he's a primed fighting machine. He's always ready to fight, and if he's angry enough he may not have full control over his fire or his super-strength. Please contact me if you're planning to break his leg or otherwise incapacitate him, or especially if you're planning anything that might lead to his death. I will definitely be on board, it's just for thread consistency's sake.

Mindreading: He is particularly susceptible to this, and mind-readers may note that his mental barriers are not just worn down, but missing in ways that they shouldn't be. Message me and I can give you an idea of what your character will find out!

IC Personal Boundaries/Warnings: Dodger is prone to sexist, transphobic and homophobic language (despite being bisexual himself), as well as going out of his way to hit others where it hurts verbally. He is also not opposed to attacking, raping, killing, cannibalizing or torturing others (which I will bring up to the mun before he gets it in his head), and interaction with him will include a lot of mentions of drug use, alcohol abuse, animal abuse and self-harm. Close CR will also likely include mentions of sexual assault, domestic violence, child abuse and suicidal ideation/attempts. If there are any topics you'd like to avoid with him, please let me know and he will not bring them up.

OOC Personal Boundaries/Warnings: I don't come with warnings as far as I know! But I do get squicked out by eye gore and teeth-pulling - they can still happen in threads as long as it's brief and not heavily described. I also really do not like reading the word 'deglove', but like... skinning as a concept is fine, the word itself is what bothers me.

Other Notes: Dodger's reality-shifting illness may include references to CR he's had in previous games. He will never 'recognize' characters without permission from their mun, but I may reach out to ask permission if he has had a particularly strong attachment to a character in another life. These will usually only include vague feelings, fleeting memories or a sense that this person is important to pay attention to. But if we want to plot further, he may remember snippets of conversations or possibly entire scenes with them.
